Alliance Française in Durban

Situated in a lovely eco-friendly building with garden and parking, our activities include French, isiZulu and Portuguese courses of various levels, and the organization of socio-cultural activities.

Founded in 1936, the Alliance Française de Durban was the first Alliance Française in South Africa.
It is a Franco-South African non-profit and public benefit organisation.

Our 3 primary missions are the dissemination and teaching of French, the promotion of Francophone culture, as well as the promotion of cultural diversity.
