The Francophonie in South Africa is an annual event organised by Alliance Française de Pretoria, in cooperation with francophone Embassies, partners in SA and supported by Alliance Française de Durban, that attracts over 25 Francophone Embassies and Organisations, with a public of more than 3 000 people.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year the event will be hosted online. This change of format brings with it a number of new opportunities and challenges.
In the programming; events streamed to participants through Facebook Live with music concerts, video interviews (Voyage dans la Francophonie) and also workshops that you can join through teleconferencing or view from Facebook Live.
A multitude of events are also planned throughout the week by the different participating Embassies and High Commissions.
