Son Excellence Monsieur L’Ambassadeur Aurélien Lechevallier, the French Ambassador to South Africa , bestowed upon Ismail Mahomed the award of Chevalier in the French Order of Merit.
With more than 30 years of experience in the arts sector, at the National Arts Festival as well as the Market Theatre, Ismail Mohamed joined UKZN Centre for Creative Arts in 2020 and recently the board of Alliance Française de Durban.
