The Alliance Française of Durban is getting ready to make a big move!
Our premises in Windermere has been the home of the Alliance Française community in Durban for more than 30 years (though we have been around for much longer than that). As times have changed, some people have become used to having their language classes online and learning a language from the comfort of their home. This trend offers us new opportunities, like reaching students outside the city, but it also results in our classrooms being empty a lot of the time.
In order to keep providing top-quality language classes and offer affordable cultural events, we are looking for a new home in Durban.
We all have great memories of cultural events on the terrace and in our lovely garden. We will move to a new and beautiful environment where the Alliance Française spirit will thrive. We look forward to welcoming you to our new home where you can safely and comfortably enjoy your favourite activities, including language classes, movie nights, live music, arts events and much more.
You, our Alliance Française family, will be on the guest list for our house-warming party later in 2023. For the time being, our home is still at 22 Sutton Crescent in Windermere. See you there!
