| Beaujolais Nouveau time is back at the Alliance Française of Durban! Come enjoy the new wine of the year arriving from France, live music, an auction of beautiful pieces of art and more! We are waiting for you Friday, 17 November at 6pm. Beaujolais Nouveau is a worldwide event. It started in the 1800s in France in the Beaujolais region, where growers would gather to celebrate the end of the harvest by toasting the vintage with some of the young wine produced that year. It became a national event in the 1970s, spread throughout Europe in the 1980s and all over the world since then. Be part of this cheerful celebration of life and friendship!
